    Saturday Freighters – deployment of vehicles every Saturday between the months of April and September in prearranged locations across the district.

    Subsidised price home composters - promoted along with information on home composting. In order to reduce the volume of waste generated, and to minimise food waste entering the residual waste stream.

    Some areas may not have local champions maintaining their green communal areas

    Local businesses sponsor bins for those on low income or in receipt of benefits or area of a community
