2025

The Huntingdonshire Futures grant scheme 2025 is open from 24th March until 30th June 2025 (or sooner if the fund is exhausted).

A total of £40,000 is available in grants of £500 - £2,500 to local organisations for activities, and events that showcase and celebrate Huntingdonshire’s communities, heritage, and cultural identity.

This is aligned with the Pride in Place journey of the place strategy.

Applications must be for projects that are based in Huntingdonshire, and where the majority of beneficiaries are Huntingdonshire residents.


2024

The grant scheme ran from May to September 2024. They supported local communities to undertake activity that supports any of Huntingdonshire Futures 5 Journeys: Pride in Place; Inclusive Economy; Health Embedded; Environmental Innovation; and Travel Transformed.

£40,000 was distributed in small grants of £500 to £2,500 to 28 organisations.

    Exercise and massage therapy for the elderly, 1 class a week for 12 months.

  • CARESCO

    Delivery of health and balance classes for 24 weeks. The classes focus on strength and resistance exercises.

    “Since joining I have found my balance and co-ordination have improved especially when gardening."

    “Has developed from a class to a social group, all enjoy the exercising, talk when they have enough breath and laugh. When it comes to going home, they all decide who is walking who home!”
