The Local Plan predicts how many jobs will be created in the district over a certain period, we need to support this job growth through decisions about land and building uses. It can allocate new employment sites, decide what uses and the type of businesses/ sectorsthat should be supported and in what locations.
We want you to help decide the strategy employment growth, the location of this growth and how we could improve our current approach to employment areas. Chapter 5 of our Further Issues and Options consultation document sets out options for our strategy for employment and economic growth.
