  1. The district is a great place to live that supports quality of life, although there is scope for improvements
  2. Diverse and vibrant people, communities and places
  3. Active and engaged community with many local groups and partnerships
  4. Improvements to social and physical activity through enhanced provision and accessibility to open spaces, leisure and sport facilities and community allotments
  5. Involve people, particularly young people, and stakeholder groups in decision making

  1. Picturesque market towns and villages with varied townscape character
  2. Rich heritage assets and historic buildings, with high concentrations in the centres of market towns
  3. Accessibility and changing workplace culture including the rise in working from home make Huntingdonshire a more attractive place to live
  4. Rich and varied natural landscapes and green spaces including the Ouse Valley and Great Fen
  5. Market towns with a distinctive and varied offer that can co-support each other

There should be a continued focus on innovation as a means to increase productivity for businesses and the local economy
